Our Story

Like all great modern love stories, ours began on a dating app… and with a slight delay. We matched on Hinge during the height of Covid, but Michael—ever the gentleman—waited an entire month before sending Natasha a message. (In his defense, he swears he was “playing it cool.”)

 

At the time, Natasha was finishing her residency at the Manchester, New Hampshire Veterans Hospital, having just moved from Long Island literally a day before Michael reached out. Her furniture, however, was still somewhere on I-95 thanks to a very tardy moving company.

 

Our first date was at 900 Degrees Pizza, just around the corner from Natasha’s new apartment. Sparks flew immediately, though Michael briefly vanished afterward for a work meeting—an exit strategy we promise was not pre-planned. Later that evening, we met up again, and a few dates followed… which, if we’re being honest, were less “romantic candlelit dinners” and more “lugging heavy furniture up several flights of stairs.”

 

Michael initially wasn’t taking things too seriously—until a few days later when he didn’t text Natasha back. She promptly called him out (“don’t pull that shit with me”), and he’s been smitten and on his best behavior ever since.

 

Natasha never moved back to Long Island, and today she’s thriving as an eye doctor, while Michael continues running his production company and has since opened a bridal boutique (good practice for the wedding!). We now live together in Wakefield, Massachusetts, own our first home, and are scheming our future in real estate—along with our forever together.
